Nanyang Optical started as a lens grinding and edging workshop in Geylang in the 1950s. From this modest beginning, we have grown to become one of Singapore’s largest optical retail chains, with presence in Singapore and other parts of the world. In order to achieve our aim of providing our customers a holistic eyecare experience, we have vertically integrated all aspects of the optical industry – manufacturing/wholesale, distribution and retail – and combined that with service excellence. With our pulse on the latest trends and consumer needs, we design, manufacture and retail exclusive brands of quality products with unique identities. As Singapore’s first eco-friendly eyewear store, we sell stylish eyewear made from recycled and natural materials and collect and recycle optical waste.
